v0.1 · draft
Methodology
Assaying follows a five-step engagement pattern: information review, technical maturity, method selection, market evidence, reporting and quality review. It is not a valuation calculator.
What is measured
A mineral valuation is an Intelligence Object: valuation date, purpose, ownership, jurisdiction, commodity, stage, methods, evidence set, comparable universe, assumptions, adjustments, scenarios, range, per-domain confidence, qualifications, reviewers, sign-off.
Arithmetic (deterministic)
troy ounce = 31.1034768 g tonnes = contained oz × 31.1034768 / grade (g/t) attributable oz = contained oz × ownership % unit metric = consideration / attributable resource oz adjusted metric = raw × Π (1 + adjustment %) comparable stats = min, Q1, median, mean, Q3, max of included adjusted metrics implied value = metric × subject attributable oz readiness = mean of domain scores No Evidence 0 · Preliminary 25 · Partial 50 · Reasonable 75 · Advanced 90 · Verified 100
AI is not used for arithmetic. Outliers do not enter the included set unless a reviewer includes them with a reason.
Modes
Indicative
AI-assisted / user-generated. Not an independent professional valuation.
Expert reviewed
A qualified human has examined sources, comparables, methods, adjustments, calculations and conclusions.
Professional report
Controlled workflow. Compliance is never automatic.
Never-claim
We never describe software-generated output as VALMIN compliant, JORC compliant, regulatory compliant, suitable for public disclosure, suitable for stock exchange filing, an Independent Expert Report, or a fairness opinion.
Confidence
v0.1 does not emit a single pseudo-scientific valuation confidence score. Confidence is shown per domain (resource, metallurgy, tenure, capex, permitting, comparables). Absence of data is labelled Not Provided — never rendered as a low or safe score.
